Our client is a well-established local Small and Medium Enterprise in the business of trading in Bins and Containers, Construction Accessories and Plumbing and Sanitary Wares. Their workforce is stable with most of their current staff having more than five years of service in the company, and a few more than 60 years of age.

As part of our client’s efforts to professionalise their operations, the organisation decided to embark on an HR transformation journey with aAdvantage Consulting. This initiative aims to address staff’ needs and career aspirations, and to develop staff to meet the performance requirements to ultimately retain talent. ​ Through this journey, our client intends to achieve the following objectives:

  • Review and articulate the Vision, Mission and Core Values of the organisation
  • Establish HR Practices & Processes to Support the Vision, Mission and Desired Culture​
  • Develop Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, and Learning and Development policies and processes to support the Organisation Objectives​

 

Our client adopted a three-phase approach, as recommended by aAdvantage Consulting. The first phase of the project commenced with understanding our client’s needs and existing situation. We employ a suite of employee engagement measurement tools to provide us insights of our clients’ current and desired organisational culture.

The second phase was to collaborate with the Management team to articulate their organisation’s desired vision, mission and values as well as their business objectives and goals. These outputs were then cascaded to the entire organisation through an experiential learning session.

In the final phase of the project, we reviewed our client’s various HR areas and worked with the Management team to develop appropriate systems, processes and policies to support their organisational needs.
